Common Questions
How do renders work?
Take a photo of your room, assign paint colors to specific surfaces (walls, trim, ceiling, and more), and tap Generate. Repaint produces a photorealistic image of your room repainted in those colors, usually within 30–150 seconds.
What do the in-app purchases cover?
Each render is a one-time purchase — Basic ($0.99) for a standard render or Deluxe ($4.99) for a higher-resolution render. There is no subscription. You only pay when a render succeeds; if a render fails, you are not charged and can retry at no extra cost.
I was charged but didn't get my image.
Open the render in your Gallery and tap “Try Again” — it reuses your existing purchase at no additional cost. If it still doesn't appear, email us with your Apple receipt and we'll make it right.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, or email us and we'll help.
Do you need an account?
No. Repaint works on first launch with no sign-up, login, or account.
What happens to my photos?
Your photos are used only to generate the render you request. See our Privacy Policy for details.
